The conference will comprise of a variety of speakers and topics in the field of calixarenes and cucurbiturils, as well as other related macrocycles. Edinburgh is the capital city of Scotland, with much history and culture to be experienced. The conference venue, the John McIntyre Conference Centre, sits at the foot of the extinct volcano Arthur’s Seat close to the centre of the city, making for a highly convenient location to explore from whilst also attending the conference. Accessing Edinburgh is highly convenient from many countries around the world, with Edinburgh Airport (EDI) being situated a short taxi, bus or tram ride out of the city centre. The city is also highly connected with the rest of the UK, with the travel hub of Waverley Train Station located directly in the centre of the city.
